Not sure whether or not you are itching. If you have GD and don't itch, that's surprising, but count yourself as fortunate. At any rate, I have found that Cera Ve itch relief cream is pretty effective for temporarily dealing with GD's symptoms. Welcome to the club !!

Mercifully, I do not itch. And, at this point, mine looks like tiny brownish freckles on my stomach. My skin is not completely back to normal but it isn’t red either. I’m not sure if these are permanent changes or just old spots that will take time to heal.

To be honest, the largest and reddest thing on me is the punch biopsy mark.

Right now, I’m doing cilantro smoothies with collagen powder, taking chlorella, garlic, and Metalloclear (to help eliminate heavy metals), and cutting out all sugar, dairy, grains, and seafood (again, metals) from my diet. I’ve been doing this for just over two months. No miracle cure but it has been helping. My right collarbone started healing shortly after I went grain free. My stomach still has the tiny brown (or maybe deep maroon — just not red) spots but they appear to be fading painfully slowly.

As far as topicals, I use zinc oxide on GD and CeraVe lotion everywhere else. I’d love to be one of the transient cases but, for now, I’m treating it as something systemic, likely caused by my environment or diet.
