Bringing compressor for nebulizer on plane

I will be flying to Chicago later this month and wondered if it will be a problem bringing my Pari Controller (for Arikayce) and my other compressor used for saline nebulizer on the plane. Has anyone taken their compressor on a plane before? Did you have to put it in a checked bag rather than a carryon?

@mjb24 We travel with all medical equipment in a carry-on bag labeled medical equipment. This inclides, nebulizer, compressor and solutions, glucometer, injectable, medications. It is not counted as our carry-on by the airlines and we are allowed another.

I never have a problem either. I ordered some Medical Supply Tags from Amazon to attach to my carry-on luggage.

The last time I traveled I put the compressor and nebulizer plus all what I needed in my carry on and no one questioned why

@cavlover @lilianna Thank you 😊. I ordered some medical tags and will bring everything in a carryon bag. I really appreciate this site and all those who make it so great!

I just started nebulizing (thanks to this group!) and was wondering the same thing about travel. Also so thankful for the incredible people and resources in this chat group.

I purchased a portable nebulizer for traveling. It works very well.

@cynie Which one did you buy?
I already ordered the DeVilbiss Traveler Portable Nebulizer System but it hasn't arrived yet.
