Grover's Disease: What works to help find relief?
I have been diagnosed with Grover's disease under my breasts. I had a biopsy for diagnosis. Tried topical ointment with no really good results. Any ideas?

sabrina2- I am not sure of your back-group and assume you are on this blog to discuss GD. Are you afraid of cilantro because you will be allergic? I am not aware that cilantro is an allergic food, but would like information on that if so. I am allergic to many contacts and have lots of food sensitivities. Yet red meat, all meat except processed meat and poultry are safe for me. Only certain fish. I am not sure how I would get my protein if I have to give up meat and poultry as dairy, beans and legumes are out. Eggs are safe. How do you get your protein?
It sure seem like you have more going on than GD. I do know it can spread to areas besides the torso, but I haven't heard on anyone reacting to such a large area as you. It certainly is less common.
If you can go bra-less at home, I do even with no GD issues. I also garden without a bra, wearing a loose denim shirt with 2 patch pockets which is loose fitting and I haven't had the under bra rash for over a year and a half. I do eat foods from time to time not on my list of food sensitivities, but I am rigid about avoiding my allergic contacts for ACD. I was told that with each subsequent contact our reaction time is less and more severe. In my laundry room I have multiple bins, 6 in fact. Two are just for me with my light and dark's. I wash my husbands light and dark's separately from mine because he has mixed fiber clothes (I am allergic to blended material) and for his really dirty dark's I use Tide and sometime use fabric softener on his loads. All my towels are 100% cotton and my bleach load of whites used in kitchen and house for cleaning I use the Free and Clear and of course never any fabric softener. With ACD mixed fibers when washed with my 100% pure cotton or 100% polyester or silk will cross contaminate my clothing. The rubber chemical used to blend fibers does leach out.
Good morning
I have allergies to most everything my protein comes from legumes. It’s rice . I don’t eat beans I have tons of stomachache issues nevertheless my blood work is fine.. Well for me.. I don't believe there is a measure of eating for everyone .. we have different bodies and don’t require same percentage of foods ie protein minerals etc.. this disease has scared me knowing it’s nver leaving and not much known...

It does help knowing we're not crazy or exaggerating our misery by hearing from other bloggers, plus on this Mayo site I learned about the cilantro which no specialist or any other internet site ever suggested. By seeking out info on the internet it shows you are a fighter and that's what it takes to manage a chronic disease.
I just found this in my cabinet. I forgot all about it, I actually bought it before all this came about. It has never been opened. Until now!!
@sabrina2 I mix Vega plant based protein powder in my cilantro shake. It is unsweetened and has no flavor. It comes in flavors but they usually are sweetened. I do not like the fake sugar substitutes. Grains and legumes are not allowed on the whole 30 diet. That diet changed my digestive issues from pain when having a bowel movement to being normal, absolutely heavenly, daily normal. The cilantro is big aid in digestion also. You can check out the ingredients in Vega at a Whole Foods or online to see if you are allergic to any ingredients. Will try to post a photo of it.
Vega plant based protein and chlorella tabs.
I have read that some that take cilantro tablets do not get the same helpful results as using fresh or frozen. I have used the tablets for a few days when traveling. Until you start improving it seems better to use the fresh if possible.
I agree with using fresh or frozen cilantro. I used the pills for a few weeks but the fresh in smoothies is what really worked well
