I am avoiding sugar too, but on my anti-inflammatory diet the only allowed sweetener is Stevia and that does make the cilantro smoothly doable. I also use unsweetened almond milk (non-dairy) in the smoothly and that makes it creamy. If you are on the Whole 30 diet no form of sweetener is allowed, even Stevia.

@gardenjunkie@kismass1 IDID IT! My supplements are keeping the Grovers at bay but some still itching, I get new ones, and I want to get off the steroid cream so this morning I made a smoothie with FRESH CILANTRO, unsweetened almond/cashew, frozen strawberries and bananas. I tried to take the first sip pinching my nose but I could barely swallow so then I just drank some and IT WASN'T BAD. I am so proud of myself and so grateful to all who have suggested this. I also took a supplement just in case. Now my big question is: how many stems should I put in a drink each day? The entire bunch is HUGE. I started with about 7 stems, using all of it and chopped them up in small pieces. There are about 70 stems in a bunch at my store. They are HUGE bunches.
