That’s what my eye, ear, nose doctor said to me to when I went to him with burning mouth. I am having success with reflux treatment. I was just finally diagnosed with reflux ( silent) and Barrett’s. Taking 40 mg Nexium twice daily and taking sucralfate liquid 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals and bedtime. I also take baclofen 5 mg 3 times during day and at bedtime. I take pepsid complete chewable if burning breaks thru during day. Took a good 30 days to see any improvement. After 60 days I was able to stop pain pills and pregabalin. I feel so much better and getting the burning to stop really relaxes my body. I suffered with burning mouth, tongue, and tooth 3 plus years.
