Same here. My gut feels terrible and appetite is fading ( not that I can't stand to lose some weight.)

I still have an appetite but a couple of months ago (after nearly 4years of LTC), lots of foods I’ve always liked taste different - as in not good - to me. Impossible to know what to fix for meals.

I understand your frustration. Long Covid gave me A=fib, I take a cocktail of meds which includes a stool softener because the meds cause constapation. It could be whatever medicine you have to take and not a physiological change. I also eat 5 to 6 servings of fruit daily up from 4 daily and a tablespoon of oat bran morning and night. I also take 600 mg of mixed magnesium, which has been a routine for at least 30 years.

I'm managing OK overall. But, I want the life back that I had 8 1/2 months ago i.e. pre-covid!

I've tried all the OTC products, probiotics, etc. I am finally on Linzess, a prescription. It is helping!!

FYI - had to stop Linzess because now I have very soft stools, urgency and diarrhea, especially in the morning. My diet has not changed, except on really bad days, I eat mostly rice and crackers.
