What brought you joy today?
If you've been living with cancer for a while, you know it's not all gloom and doom. Where did you find joy today? I'll start:
1. Working in my garden.
2. Meeting my daughter for tea.
3. Home-made pizza for dinner.
4. My spouse (always).
5. Some interesting online discussions.
6. Rereading a good novel.

This bright me joy.
Had doctors appointment after body CT. They found no malignancies and CEA has come down to 5.3.
These brought me joy today, and every other day since they came into my life a fortnight ago at 9 weeks old. My 2 Labradoodle puppies Benji and Lulu. Toilet training is a work in progress 😂 I’ve been over 2 years NED from stage 4 appendix cancer and these little souls have greatly enriched my life ♥️♥️
It brought me joy that I was able to take care of my mother for a few days while she recovered from a serious case of Anaplasmosis (tick-borne), rather than being the person everyone has to take care of.
It brought me even more joy that she's recovering well and seems like herself again.
It was so great being able to address with others on this site my fears of not outliving my precious little souls before I took them when the opportunity arose. So much great advice. That too made my day to help me make this dream a reality while being practical. Silence outside. I had better go and have a look 😂♥️
My joy yesterday was joining my sisters and dear friends for a picnic and musical under the stars in our beautiful Valley of the Moon, Sonoma, CA. The final song was “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” The Joy was pressed down and overflowing…
Strawberries!
@sistermarcy Sounds wonderful! I just had a flashback of Jerry Lewis as I loved when he always sang “You’ll Never Walk Alone” at the end of his annual telethon. 🥰
Getting a photo from my daughter of the sun rising on the North Shore of Lake Superior
Sitting outside looking through a cookbook.
Talking to an old friend
Completing projects I've been putting off
Still thinking of the ballet I attended last eve
Our two recently rescued young cats gluing themselves onto me all day. And sleeping with me last night in a "kitty sandwich", one on each side of me.
