Anyone have extreme itchy back?

Just curious if anyone has extreme itching of your back . I have COPD, MAC and Bronchiectasis. This itch seems deep in the tissue. The sensation is a cross between itching/pain and numbness. Scratching does make it feel better. It feels like something is "there"

This can be caused by a pinched nerve too

Yes, I have had this for years...right in the middle of my back. Been checked and checked and nothing wrong. It is not dry skin or a rash or anything. Mine is kind of tingly and itchy. Right over the spine. Crazy!

When I started rifampin/ethambutol/CLOFAZIMINE for MAC, I got an itchy back. All over. I would scratch it. After a few weeks, I then had little scabs all over my back. Then on my belly and midriff. This persisted until I stopped the drugs after 15 months. Guess it was the clofazimine- as I had taken the other drugs before.

Yes, my symptoms are exactly the same since starting clofazimine.
