My story spans many years and has come to a head at this point & time. Basically it started with (most notably) a horribly sore mouth that was diagnosed at Burning Mouth syndrome. Over the past (roughly) 14 yrs some health issues I’ve had plus new ones I’ve gained along the way have become extremely bad, to the point my gallbladder went bad and my liver, pancreas, stomach, esophagus & gut are in question. My friend told me about Carrageenan & I found it in my toothpaste. I removed it & notice a difference. My investigation has just begun…

Good for you! My wife has had burning mouth syndrome for about two years, but long before that she had thyroid disease, then 12 years ago she was diagnosed Celiac, and most recently both rheumatoid and osteo-arthritis. She also has IBS.

I can only go by my wife's case as I am most familiar with hers, but there are two hefty components to this spectrum of auto-immunity: childhood trauma and abuse, and a personality that frets, worries about what others think, a need to be 'safe' and in control of one's circumstances (but one that hides an exterior locus of control (See Julian Rotter, 1954). Not to be discounted, of course, is the poor choice one has made in one's parents. IOW, genetics.
