Has anyone been diagnosed or thought to have Bagassosis?

@ladyintheplains - Hello, and welcome to Mayo Connect. Every day I learn something new here!
Bagassosis was originally defined as an occupational lung condition arising from exposure to sugar cane residue, but it appears that it is now being used to describe hypersensitivity pneumonitis or interstitial lung disease from a variety of low-molecular weight organic sources such as brick dust, fine wood particles, plaster dust and more - sometimes it is the substance itself that causes it, other times it is mold spores or other irritants that are included with it. I think it can also happen with exposure to grain dusts over time.

Have you, or someone you know, been diagnosed recently? Do you know what the exposure was that led to it?
