Thanks for the information. I am using Musinex and Tessalon Pearls were prescribed for the cough. They did not work at all. I got some Robitussin cough and chest congestion DM, and its helping with the cough. Now it seems like its mostly a nasal drip that is constant. My oxygen level etc. has been good. Just cannot figure out what is going on. I keep thinking its allergies which I suffer with all the time anyhow. I am taking my last Prednisone tonight. Doctor only prescribed it for 5 days low dose of only 10mg. My chest x-ray showed that I have trapped mucus behind the lung and diaphragm after having a bad Bacterial Infection. I do find relief with some Hot Tea with Honey also. Not sure what I will do next to get relief. Thanking Everyone for their advice.

With persistent symptoms, it might be good to see a pulmonologist, who can really take a good look at what is going on in your lungs. Mucus typically stays inside the lungs, if it is escaping there could be a serious issue. Additional images like a CT might be needed.
Also, when you do not bring up the mucus, there are techniques that you can learn to do it - again the pulmonologist is the place to begin.
