Are there exercises that strengthen the lower esophageal sphincter?

I wonder if there are certain exercises that might strengthen the lower esophageal sphincter?

The diet change has helped me, so I no longer take a ppi. I made the mistake of eating a Boston cream donut and had one reflux episode. I think the problem is sugar or other addfitives in processed foods.

Any way to check and test safely? i fear gastroscopy... I am in Tanzania, I know no doctors here, and i read that if there are any esophageal ulcers, the tube itself could worsen them. Besides the side effects of all sedatios...

PS
I've been taking PPI for 2 months and then 2 months break and then again 2 months. When I dont take i need lozenges. The only thing that really give me rapid relief to burning throat sensation (and cloves at times).

A novel exercise is described for resistance training of the lower esophageal sphincter. Resistance is provided by gravity as food is swallowed and pushed up an incline into the stomach. The incline is established by kneeling with the head bowed lower than the stomach. I haven’t tried this yet. I feel so apprehensive about this exercise. I wish you the best of luck. I hope it works. Let’s us know if this helps you.

" A Simple Exercise to Strengthen the Lower Esophageal Sphincter and Eliminate Gastroesophageal Reflux: An Autobiographical Case Report (2022) this is a title you should be able to find it that way if you don’t see the link above, it seems a bit questionable, but if it works well, that’s good news. Either one would like to see some replication of this case study."

There has been a study done only in reverse and with no food (dry swallowing) called "Bridge Swallowing": Bridge Swallowing Exercise for Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease Symptoms: A Pilot Study. Since I can't post a link, you can use the title in the search bar to find it. A small pilot study done with medical professionals as test subjects. Taking this study into account, it would seem the single test subject self study could be a very viable method. Worth a try.

Is this site still active? Last post was in 2021.
I was recently diagnosed with GERD and dysphasia. I’m having difficulties managing through this. On a severe diet and meds, still having weekly attacks of severe shortness of breath (hyperventilating, can’t catch my breath), tightening of the throat, distention, gas and belching. I had aspiration pneumonia from choking on salad, almond went into my lung end of April.
Anyway, glad to see articles posted. Trying to learn all I can.

I bought it when I was in Sweden and I'm using it. 3 times a day. 10 seconds x 3. Easy to use but sometimes I forget. It has made my swallowing better, but you need to keep it up.
