High Basophiles and Eosinophils Relative
I just had more lab work and the results show high Basophils Relative and high Eosinophils Relative. Also, high Bun/Creatine level. Anyone else?

Yes, same but no one understands why. I’ve been LC 2+ years.
Anyone else? My Gastro Doctor has referred me to an Hematologist because he doesn't understand "why" either.
I have high eosinophils as well. Post Covid I became gluten intolerant, and now I have added crustacean intolerant as well. Do any of you have new sensitivities or allergies?
Consider keeping a food log and getting a celiac panel blood test, in case covid triggered celiac. You have to be eating gluten for a while before the test, otherwise it will be negative. Gluten is in a lot of things, including most restaurant food. My celiac was triggered 14 years ago by H1N1. Eight years ago I developed collagenous colitis; when you have one autoimmune disease you tend to collect others (a rather sucky hobby). So, I don't eat and gluten or NSAIDs and minimize legumes (soy, peanuts, beans...) and alcohol. I eat a mostly FODMAP diet but with dairy.
Thank you. I have been tested for celiac, negative. I've also tried the FODMAP diet. Apparently, that's not the problem. Yes, I do have other autoimmune issues, including IBS-C and formerly, IBS-D. Appreciate your feedback, though.
My eosinophils are high as well. Drs didn’t have any explanation. Repeat labs were ordered x3 over a few months, no changes, but the lab results were ultimately shrugged off by the drs. Still a mystery.
Hmmmm, sounds like another COVID mystery. I hope this thread prompts some research!!
My eosinophils and other "ophils" are normal range, but some of my other bloodwork is all over the place; at least that part of my immune system is working. I didn't find anything in ResearchGate using "eosinophil covid" and not much with eosinophil. Once our bloodwork starts to go wonky it is a bit like a 3D jigsaw puzzle, waiting to see how it fills out.
