Is anyone taking lorazepam .05mg and having loss of appetite?

Having a hard time eating. Can only eat a tiny bit each meal. Feel nauseous all day everyday. Trying to ween off of it.

After speaking with psychiatric RN…she suggested that I get tested for
gastroparesis. Symptoms I have are no appetite, hard to swallow, loss of weight, nausea. Also believe the Ativan makes it worse.

@andiee I've been thinking about you. How are you feeling this evening? I wanted to check in with you since you started on the Cymbalta.

You mentioned the GI symptoms you've been having that you discussed with the Psychiatric nurse. Did you get a referral to be tested for gastroparesis?

You mentioned the GI symptoms you've been having that you discussed with the Psychiatric nurse. Did you get a referral to be tested for gastroparesis?

Hi, so doing ok. Today was the first time I set foot outside since Tuesday. Feeling a little bit all over the place. Just trying to be patient and get the cymbalta in my system while still taking the Ativan. I did get a referral to gastronologist. Will keep you posted

@andiee It takes a lot of courage to do what you are doing right now. Please give yourself credit for taking the Cymbalta and reminding yourself to be patient during the process of your body getting used to a new medication. Yes, please keep me posted on your referral to the gastro doctor.

I’ve suffered with depression and anxiety all my life. I’m 60.. from time to time , my dr has to put me on appetite pills until I gain my appetite back.
Hang in there. You’ve got this. One moment at a time. Xx
