You must be frustrated, but unfortunately Mayo Connect is a community of patients and Mayo's moderators and can not provide direct medical or legal advice.
Have you contacted the provider who prescribed Metformin or a pharmacist and asked if it could be causing the false positive.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I have and no they won't write a support letter because they have read about it, but haven't actually dealt with this matter direct.
