Anxiety and depression: What medications help?

My problem stared 12 months ago in March insomnia, taking .5 mg clonazepam and 10mg lexapro for three months, no help what can I do ? Very nervous inside and out, some head numbness.

Has anyone used any anti depression medications that worked on anxiety ? I have GAD and taken .5 mg of Ativan two to three times a day with no help, still nervous all day body and head.

Have you checked the side effects of the medications you are taking that don't seem to help much? That might be the problem. I like natural solutions. When I feel anxious I drink a cup of tea and say a prayer. It helps every time.

I also have GAD and Buspirone helps me.

My PCP prescribed it. A psychiatrist can also prescribe it.
