I assume, from your handle, that you are a Muhammad Ali fan?

I have an anecdote about him, from some people in my circle.

He was invited to meet with a Hindu priest. His friends did not want him to go. Generally, there has been some tension between Hindus and Muslims. But Muhammad Ali said, no...he absolutely wanted to go.

And he met with this Hindu priest and they immediately connected with each other. They connected with each other so deeply, that within a couple of minutes, they fell into silence and just prayed, silently, together for 30 minutes..without ever saying they were going to do that.

Each deeply appreciated the other.

So, the Hindu priest left. After he left, Muhammad Ali's friends discovered that the Hindu priest left his sweater. So, one of them said he would drive across town and give back the priest his sweater. Muhammad Ali said no...and he personally took the sweater, drive it across town and gave it to the Hindu priest.

He was that kind of man. Didn't care who you were or what your background was. If he sensed you were a nice and caring person, you were immediately his friend. And a very honorable man, no ego about his wealth. A man visiting him forgot his sweater. He was not going to have some attendant run it back...

Wonderful human being...
