Natural remedy for hot flashes
A number of years back I was diagnosed with Dural Venus Sinus Thrombosis, i had a 3” clot one direction, and a 4”clot in another direction at the back of my skull. I had to see a neurologist regarding possible surgery, fortunately I did not need surgery, but I was told that I could never use anything to help with menopausal symptoms. At the time I did not think to ask if natural products were out as well, can anyone help answer as to whether or not a natural product could be used in my case? The night sweats are waking me up at least 6 to 9 times a night, would love some reprieve if possible, thank you.

When I went through menopause, orange juice and milk helped me through the bad times. You might want to search the Mayo Clinic for this problem. Night sweats are "normal" with menopause. They get better over time.

Thank you for your response 🙂
I am now in postmenopause and my symptoms are many. I couldn't take it anymore. I have vestibular migraines, fatigue, brain fog and inflammation. So, I have been trying all kinds of stuff. Exercise, food diet, vitamins. etc. I started watching Dr. Barbara O'Neill, PhD, RN on youtube. And, she recommended Wild Yam Cream to balance women hormones.

I bought wild yam cream on amazon it was more affordable and the ingredients where similar. I started the cream two days ago feeling some relief. My fatigue is gone, and vestibular migraine stopped. I still have inflammation. I will continue to use it as long as it helps me. I hope I was helpful. Don't take my word for it. Please research it for yourself.
I also had a positive experience with wild yam cream: helped me from waking up with hot flashes in the middle of the night. I will add that I very rarely get them during the day.
This is an additional recommendation for staying cool at night. I bought a bFan, a bed fan that moves air under the covers to help cool you down. Mine is manual but they also have ones with remote controls.
One competition is Bedjet which can also provide heat during the winter.
My bfan is over 10 years old and still working great. Sometimes my feet get cold so I need to wear socks.
Not a remedy for the physical changes we women undergo but helpful if after 'the change' you often remain warm at night.
