I have spinal stenosis, herniated disc and arthritis of the spine and have been taking a supplement called PEA + by Enzyme Science. Downside: It's expensive. Upside: It is helping me somewhat. However, the capsules also include a good bit of curcumin, which is an anti inflammatory. So I don't really know if it's the PEA itself that's doing me good or whether it's the curcumin. In the interest of saving a few dollars, I'm going to try a good curcumin supplement on its own and see if it eases my pain.
@johnfaraday, There are a few discussions on the supplement where you can learn what others have shared.
