Anyone have Salzmann nodular degeneration?

Does anyone have this condition? Have you been treated to correct your vision? How was it treated? Did your vision improve?
I have had cataract surgery and my vision is worse than before the cataract surgery and supposedly that is due to the Salzmann nodule condition. Are there any new procedures that will correct the situstion? I am interested in any comments from people with this condition.

I have Salzmann nodular degeneration in both eyes, unfortunately overlapping my pupils, especially bad in my left eye, badly impacting my eyesight. I was fitted for scleral contact lenses last year and they have been wonderful. They really helped to correct vision problems I was having that could not be corrected with glasses.

I’m so happy that your scleral contacts are helping you and giving you relief!!! I will be seeing a new eye doctor next week Who fits and prescribes scleral contacts. Would you have any advice for someone like me who is never experienced this type of contact? Thank you, any tips you can give me, will be appreciated! Once again, so glad that you were able to get relief.
