Taking probiotics after liver transplant

I am almost 5 years post liver transplant and take 1 mg tacro am and pm. I have been suffering from almost constant diarrhea for about a year. My liver doctor just recently had me start taking Align Probiotic. I have been taking it for about 3 weeks now and have noticed a little improvement. So far no side effects. Keeping my fingers crossed that this will work. He was very specific that I used Align brand (not sure why).

I take the same amount of tacro you do and my diarrhea comes and goes it been about five years for me also. I have been on magnesium since right after my transplant - are you on that ? When it comes on I take Imodium but I know that is not a long term solution.
