ADVISE testing
Has anyone had this and did they find it helpful for diagnosis. My Rheumatologist wasn't for it for some reason but I'm seeing a new one tomorrow and wonder if I should push for it.

I had it done. Positive. They don’t push because insurance doesn’t like to cover it was my understanding.

1 ReactionIt's a blood test that can tell you what specific ai disease you have and is helpful with Lupus. I find doctors not wanting to order it though.

1 ReactionI had the test twice and my newest rheumatologist was able to finalize my SLE and rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis. Definitely think it’s worthwhile

1 ReactionJust saw 2nd Rheumatologist and she said it's not worth it. Insurance doesn't cover it and you need to go to a special lab for it and with all the testing I already had(25 tests) it covers the same things? Guess if I keep not getting answers I could see how much it would cost on my own.
