Does anyone on Evenity have intense night sweats & hot flashes?

Has anyone read the Japanese study done 30 years ago that showed promise after taking vitamin K2-mk4 at 45mg daily for six months?

I also experienced a return of more intense hot flashes and night sweats. The symptoms began after the fourth month of injections. Besides the osteoporosis I do not have any other medical conditions.

Yes, I am having the same experience.

@naturegirl5 I’m 72 years old and hadn’t had hot flashes in years. Yet, after my 2nd Evenity shots, started getting hot flashes again regularly. No night sweats.

It seems to be mixed on the issue of hot flashes or night sweats during the course of the Evenity injections. I wrote my original post quite awhile ago. I’m very curious about this and will look into it.

Have you talked with your prescribing physician about the hot flashes you are experiencing? Could the hot flashes be due to any other medications you are taking? Maybe your physician has heard about hot flashes from their other patients?

Interesting! I hadn't read about hot flashes being a side effect so I wasn't influenced by anything I read. I just finished my 4th Evenity injections. I've had several hot flashes in the past two months. I couldn't even convince myself that they were hot flashes, but after reading this, yup, that's what they were. I also haven't had them since menopause 24 years ago. My main issues have been horrible fatigue, which lasted almost the whole first month, and three weeks into the 2nd month. Now it seems to have eased to several days after the injections, thank goodness. I'm determined to finish the one year of treatment, although I read that if you take Evenity after Reclast, it might not work as well. I had two years of alendronate and two years of Reclast, yet my spine T-score is worse. I can't believe some people on this blog believe natural supplements might work to increase bone density or keep it from further decline. They do not.

I haven’t had hot flashes after two injections, but I did have a site reaction after the second infusion. I lad very large red, raised welts that were hot on both arms. They told me to take Benadryl or Zyrtec next time prior to the infusion.

I just finished the 12th Evenity and did not have hot flashes. I did have bad fatigue for several months but it did get better. Didn’t go away completely yet. I also had a constant headache for several months that the only thing that would help is ibuprofen which I’m not supposed to take. Tylenol does nothing for me. Last but not least is the joint and bone pain I’ve had. It’s all getting better just in time for the next round of medication.
