@debafitz
Thanks for responding. I was told Evenity should only be taken for one year, but my PCP isn't that versed on treatment. How long will you be taking it? I researched endocrinologists with osteoporosis expertise in our area, and found a practice a 40 mile drive away, but can't get in to see one until Feb. I've had some joint pain, but it's hard to tease it out from arthritis pain. First total knee replacement in 3 weeks and I have to get my 5th Evenity injections the day after I get out of the hospital, sigh...I've also had minor headaches off and on

1 Reaction@mapitts I'm hoping Benadryl will calm down the reaction next time. Thanks for the reply.
I have only had my first injection 4 weeks ago and I’ve experienced “ hot flashes “ and night sweats. Im 67, so past this being normal. I’m due for my second dose, but rescheduled because of extreme fatigue and feeling unwell the days before my appointment. I’m really hesitant to continue with treatment. Doc ordered bloodwork and everything came back normal range. Has anyone decided to discontinue treatment after just one dose ?
I am so torn between just continuing over the counter supplements and hoping it will help to continuing the shots for 11 more months.
