Hi Trixie, the sound is a muted hum that is hardly noticeable. The unit has 4 suction cups 1 in each corner that hold it solidly to my tile floor. There really is minimal vibration. I use mine at the default of 15hz which is comfortable for me. I've tried using light arm weights and also the bent knee position holding onto the base of my bed 😊. It works for support and I'm hoping it will help my hip area. I'm honestly quite pleased with this company, no bells and whistles, and no outrageous promises. I use it as an adjunct with hopes it will do some good.

Dear Rola: Thank you very much for sharing more details. I really needed to hear from someone who owns and uses one. I’m glad to know it’s not too noisy and I think the vibration will be fine for our old home and wooden floors. I’ll put something under it to absorb excessive vibrations. I hope it helps you. I will keep you posted about my experience as well. I’m happy to have found a WBV that isn’t too expensive but still quality and offering a lower intensity vertical vibration.😊 Thanks again!🙏
