Best Oximeter for Bronchiectasis?
Do you have a recommendation for a very accurate medical grade oximeter? I just ordered one from Amazon that either would not read my finger or gave readings all over the place. I think some of them would have me dead. I know my readings are lower but cannot be that low! I made sure my skin was not cold. The one at the Drs office worked recently. It fit on nice and tight which is another issue that might affect it, ie. skinny fingers?

I was at the doctor's office and the oximeter they used is below: (I'm about to buy one too)

NuvoMed is a good quality brand. I have a model A310 for 4 years now. It was $37 at Kroger/King soopers
I had had bad luck with them, too. The physical therapist at NJH recommended Walgreen's brand which I now have and it is working well.
I use this one. It was recommended by the Wrecutter, and tested by an independent lab. I did see one of my doctor's offices also use this. Most doctor's offices use the one connected to some wire. But it seems to me, in the doctor's office my Pso2 was always higher than when I tested at home.
