I have (likely) hundreds of SK on my torso, the base of my neck, temples, and the top of my head and I am researching laser removal. Those on the top of my head are pretty large and thick and I found the following study (done in Bulgaria, 2016 by symbiosisonlinepublishing) which also led me to an Argentinian man (Doctor Hoogstra) whom I found on YouTube.

Have any of you had this type of surgery? I have an appointment with a local dermatologist but not until Mid-August and I am trying to become as educated as possible to find out what my options might be. Though more expensive than cryo, with my lesion range of size, thickness, etc., I thought it might be more economical and time-saving to get laser? Thoughts? Thanks!

I'm with you - I probably have 100 or more right now, every year some need to be removed because they get irritated, usually by clothing, and bleed, or because they grow rapidly which is an indication of pre-cancer cells based on my numerous biopsies.
Here is what Mayo Clinic has to say.

My dermatologist has scraped then cauterized some large/thick ones - not my preferred method because it usually leaves a slow-to-fade scar. Most of them she freezes with liquid nitrogen. Some take two treatments to go away.
I have not heard of laser treatment, which I am sure she would suggest if it was a reasonable option.

I know it’s been a while since you posted this, but I was wondering if you did try laser treatment and if so was it successful? I am looking for all information I can find on this😪
