It is my understanding that Tramadol has a number of concerning side effects such as organ damage, addiction, certain psychiatric effects, serotonin syndrome. I have been told by my doctors that it is not meant to be taken long term. I’d listen carefully to what your doc has to say. They don’t Rx tramadol at all in my rheumatologist’s office.
