I went into the hospital for pancreatitis on February 1. Everything went downhill from there. I was on a ventilator for 6 days. Prophephol and fenteynol. I remember being awake but not. I know what I saw. I had septis and pneumonia and ARDs. I remember coming back and people asking if I was a donor. I was released on February 28th of this year. That was 4 months ago and I feel so not me anymore. Confused and upset. I've been to PT and pulmonologist and therapist and physciatrist etc and I still feel so incomplete like something was taken

Sara, I can imagine these past 4 months have seemed long and recovery slow. It's so hard. Do you have people who were with you through the ICU experience who are helping to piece together what happened and the timeline?

Ok thank you for clarifying! I am only 42 and the doctors said if it wasn't for my younger age it may have been very iffy for me. They told my husband and mother that I had a 30% chance of surviving. I would love to speak with others that have experienced this.
