Iron Depletion in Blood related to COVID?

Posted by stellm @stellm, Jun 11, 2021

Has there been any reports of iron depletion in the blood after receiving the Pfizer vaccine?

Liquid iron every other day, but your doctor will know how much and how often. If he does not know, get another doctor! Hepcidin? Do you mean Hematocrit.Once your not anemic and your blood levels are normal the fatigue and heart racing will subside. Because you are tired your heart beats faster to get blood/ O2 to your organs.

I actually mean hepcidin. Studies have shown that hepcidin raises the day after you take iron and fight’s absorption. I have been to so many GPs and my god they don’t know. But I will try the liquid iron every other day, but double the dose and see what happens.

Does vitamin C lower hepcidin?
Vitamin C directly inhibits hepcidin expression within HepG2 cells. Moreover, by enhancing EPOR production, vitamin C may correct the downregulating EPOR from EPO, which has additional effect with EPO in treating anemia.

I was taking EmergenC packet with liquid iron

Thanks for the info. So you suggest taking liquid iron every other day with Emergen C or Vitamin C? If I take other day, I may double the dose. Although palpations have subsided for the most part, my imbalance (not really dizziness, yet equilibrium is off) still remains. I did however find out that Ferretts change’s manufacturers thereby affecting the original iron tablet. I took them anyone and felt the negative effects 3 months later. I’m hoping WOW iron works, unless there are other suggestions I’m all ears!

That's is the dose I took 6.8 mls, it requires a doctors script. you need to take Ferrous Sulfate Elixir as your doctor suggests for your wt and size. Iron tablet's taken may affect other organs, careful! The iron infusion beware, has side effects days later, may need epi pen. I still feel a little off balance too. Never double a dose, anything you take into your body, can affect your liver, thyroid, heart, kidneys etc. My labs are normal with my blood, but my thyroid is causing inflammation, wt. loss, I need lots of protein and to regulate my immune system. My thyroid antibodies are 379 normal is < 35. Note: I was a healthy good looking fe with no underlying conditions had not seen a doctor except for an exam for college.

Israel promoted a 'universal' vaccine program - but they kept excellent medical records (and apparently did not lie or keep them secret as some other place that we know.)

In time studies showed that those vaccinated exhibited some loss of immunities, natural and acquired. The number one example was the loss of immunity to shingles {herpes zoster virus.}

I lost my immunity to shingles; I do not know if I have lost other immune responses or not. -- I will not be receiving any more mRNA 'vaccines' if I can help it. IR

Editor's Note:
Please include citations when referencing studies. Here are some articles to consider regarding immunity.

"It is a myth that the COVID-19 vaccine weakens the immune system. After someone receives a vaccine, their immune system is better equipped to protect against subsequent infections."

Learn more about the COVID-19 vaccine and the immune system https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/is-your-immune-system-weak-after-covid-vaccine

"Since the introduction of SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccines, there has been an ongoing debate about whether vaccinations or natural immunity provide superior protection. New research shows that while both build immunity to the virus, mRNA vaccines side-step the development of self-attacking antibodies—known as autoantibodies—that frequently occur in COVID-19 patients.

Evidence increasingly supports a connection between COVID-19 infection and autoimmunity, in which patients' immune systems target their own tissues. However, it was unclear if vaccination posed the same risk."

Old school thinking , Covid 19 bivalent mRNA vaccine does affect immune system, this vaccine is experimental- new, I know what it did to me and others I should of never taken it, for I was a healthy fe with no underlying conditions.

Recap and update.
I first posted after getting the 2022 booster jab (in the UK) and then discovering that my Iron levels were very, very low. This could not be explained and the urgently requested internal examinations were worrying/alarming.

I was put on 200 mg Ferrous Sulphate twice daily. This was then changed to 200mg once daily, which was called a "maintenance dose". Finally, 2 years later, all my numbers are now normal . My doctor wants me to stop taking the Ferrous Sulphate, and then to have another blood test in one month, to check my levels again.

This post is for 2 reasons. It is to let other forum members know that Ferrous Sulphate does work, given time. And it is to share my concern that I am now being offered the 2024 version of the Covid booster vaccine.
I did attempt (a couple of times) to engage doctors in a discussion about this mayoclinic.org thread, and the link between covid boosters and the onset of Iron Deficient Anemia - including reports from many Blood Donors. No discussion was possible....no connection was known at that time.

I find this depressing and frustrating. If you were posting here in 2021/2022, please give an update, if possible, on your own story.

For everybody that is anemic, I found that having blood draws every month replenished my RBC's, blood now normal.

Thanks I am not completely over the effects of the vaccine, five months ago doctors say I have Hashimoto's and Graves maybe. I say it's all those trial and error supplements I put into my body. I recently took one pill, 5mg of METHIMAZOLE, wow it gave me a rush, extreme headache and abdominal pain. My PA said no side effects, but this drug has many many side effects. So I am not taking anything, my stomach thanks me. I quit Functional med doctors every supplement they gave me caused pain and sickness. They said I had leaky gut, autoimmune disease, thyroid disfunction, hashimoto's, graves. The Hashimoto's bundle from another source I stopped also, the Ab rx made he vomit. In time my body will be healed, I feel better not taking anything. Anybody? Is there any herbal treatment for the stomach?

I also have experienced iron deficiency and anemia post covid and had to have iron infusions, although insurance will no longer cover. I now take iron supplements. Platelets remain high.

I always found that when WBC's are high they are our defense in fighting foreign invaders, as they die platelets are the end products.

I'm 63 and went through all the above before getting infusions from my hematologist which has worked so far. As a frequent blood donor I was able to well document the onset of anemia after two Pfizer shots. Doctors are unfortunately incentivized to tell you the shots are safe. I will never get another.

Do you get blood draws every month to ck your levels? Also, giving blood for tests each month replenishes your own red blood cells, RBC. It worked for me took one year! From 6.3 to 12.4 Hemoglobin.
