This is an older thread but just chiming in that after my first Reclast infusion at 20% dose, IV hydration and extremely slow infusion of the med, my tinnitus is still a lot louder the day after. I also have a headache, stomach pain, hot flashes, I'll post if the tinnitus goes back down. I doubt doctors will take this effect seriously but I do.
I received Reclast almost 2 weeks ago. Within a day after, I have a loud noise in my ears. I’ve seen an ENT, he has me taking prednisone for a week. Not helping so far. Does anyone have advice if you’ve experienced this? Success stories of it stopping? I am scared of ever doing it again at expense of my hearing.

My tinnitus got worse after a low dose of Reclast but it went back to baseline in a few weeks. Your baseline is no tinnitus so I hope it goes away for you.
How much prednisone are you taking?
I have been told tinnitus is coming from the brain and there is no cure. But I have noticed that congestion, noise and other factors do make it temporarily worse.
I have become accustomed to my tinnitus and don't notice it until writing in a thread about tinnitus !

I have had tinnitus prior to Reclast, but has been worse since….not just at night. I will try the supplements that are specific for tinnitus. Dry eyes, mouth, and thirst have really increased at night and it has been 4 months since infusion.

@fjeldbar Tinnitus Talk forum is a good resource. It doesn't seem there are any supplements that help for me, but let us know if you find one. Audiologists do retraining and might be of benefit.

Hi
My tinnitus was very low until my 3rd reclast infusion. It's been a nightmare also getting vertigo. I will not do this drug again
