Night sweats after COVID
Hello everyone,
A few weeks ago I got COVID for the first time (as far as I know). It was mild and I have fully recovered.
However, I am recently experiencing some dry cough and night sweats (for the last 4-5 days). I have never had those before (only cough during Covid), and they both appeared at the same time.
I have had no fever except for one of the first night where I felt dizzy and tired and also got a very mild fever for a few hours. That night is when it started, i had very intense night sweats and now seems like they're getting less and less.
I am wondering if this could be a post COVID symptoms. I have some blood exams scheduled because I am terrified about other possible diseases like Lymphoma. Has anyone had similar symptoms within a month of COVID exposure?
Thank you in advance

I’ve continued the night sweats since getting covid in November 2020. Their intensity varies. Changed pj’s just once last night. I use a crib pad under my side of bed and take it with me when I travel.
I started out with a sore throat, nasal congestion and cough. All that cleared up but I am now, two weeks later, experiencing night sweats and an occasional dry cough. I also noticed I do not tolerate day time heat. I had to quit working in the garden because I was soaked with sweat, even my hair was wet and the sweat was running into my eyes. I hope this doesn't last too long....
Did your symptoms clear up with time? Especially interested in knowing if the night sweats subsided. Thank you in advance.
I got Covid in 2020, and now again Oct 2024…it is the end of Dec 2024 and it has re-emerged 3 times since Oct adding additional symptoms. The latest being profuse night swears the last two nights. The first night I thought my fever broke so that made sense. Last night I didn’t have a high fever, just a low-grade, and it was the same amount of sweat, as if I broke another fever. When does all of this go away?!
