Initial Effect of Sinemet

I am about a year into relevant PD symptoms: left hand tremor, weakness, tiredness, etc. Just now am at the point when I am agreeable to starting Sinemet. But I find information on it confusing. Lots of problematic side effects, but no clear info on what advantages I might expect and how soon. For instance, some say it will help the tremor, others say probably not. So for those who have experienced this route, what can you report?

Sinemet did help a little with the tremors I was having in my right hand .
They never went away tho !

In view of the fact that I am not able to conclude that Sinemet provides and clear benefit (no left arm/hand tremor relief at all), I am planning to quit the drug. Ive been on a regular full dose no for about two weeks and plan to decrease by 1/3 tablet a day for a week, then another table for a week, etc. Any observations?

if you are not having any adverse side effects then maybe should try the meds at least for a month or two .
