I just experienced a very similar episode. I didn’t have any vomiting though, but it was diagnosed as BPV benign positional vertigo. It occured on Tuesaday and I was up and running by the following Monday. I was in bed though Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Friday. That was the best position for me to be in. It happened on my right side. The ENT doctor gave me some exercises. It literally felt like the world was spinning. If you would like those exercises I’d be happy to share them with you, but I don’t want to give you too much information in the event that that’s not what it is. I agree you should mention it to your neurologist or movement disorder specialist.
