Tiotropium Bromide (Spiriva) and Albuterol
Hi Everyone,
Does anyone use Tiotropium Bromide (Spiriva) and Albuterol together?
It seems to me that both drugs help to keep the airway open. So I assume that if you use Tiotropium Bromide (Spiriva), you don't have to use Albuterol before Aerobika.
Thanks!

Will do.

I use both but not too close together
Thank You so much Rick for the info.
From Your postings, I feel I have some similar conditions to yours --- high eosinophils at some point to be stable; big nodules. I wonder what they do for your big nodules? Do you know what causes them?
How long have you been using Spiriva and how does it work for you?
I want to try it because when I have more mucus, I cough more, the cough irritates my airways. I feel my airway is inflamed. I hope Spiriva will help.
Thanks again.

Going on 2 years now. Here is a new article on LAMA (spiriva) https://www.pulmonologyadvisor.com/reports/long-term-ics-in-copd-has-significant-risk/
I had a big nodule in fall 2022 CT scan, was diagnosed with aspergillus, pseudomonas and MAC. Was treated for 3 months for the aspergillus. was on Budesonide nebbing for a year. Felt much improved while exercising and Spo2 was much higher (97-98), on the CT scan one year later, the big nodule was nowhere to be seen. I have been wondering if that nodule was just aspergillus that was eradicated by the 3 months antibiotics or if the daily cardio destroyed it. Nobody knows. But I am happy it is gone. Good luck with everything Ling.
Thank you so much Rick for sharing your experiences and good wishes.
