Dude, you know, when I hear my own voice, it sounds like a broken speaker a little cracked and somehow disjointed. No one else is saying anything, but it doesn't sound right to my ears. I thought maybe there was a problem with the phone's speaker, so I slowly cleaned the speaker a little even looked at some settings if Fix My Speaker was a little better. But it doesn't seem right either. It could be a mistake in my head but sometimes it makes me very uncomfortable.
I had vocal cord therapy with a speech therapist for bad hoarseness in my voice. It involved "straw phonation", which was blowing into a straw in water. It really helped, but I need to keep up doing my therapy or the hoarse and squeaky sounds in my voice will return. My family doctor referred me to the speech therapist. Of course I don't know whether your problem is the same as mine. I hope you get it solved.
My surgeon is at UIHC in Iowa and was highly recommended.
I just have an unusual case. I’m sorry the problems you are having with your ears as well!
