Problems with newest Pari Sprint Nebulizer cup
Has anyone who uses Pari Sprint to nebulize found that with the most recent nebulizer cup it’s taking almost twice as much time to nebulize the same amount of solution? (>20 min vs <13 min) That’s happened to me. I found that the new cup has much wider blue plastic and much less mesh at the center inside than my old one. I bought both at Nebology.

Wow, I was thinking the same thing about my new Aeroeclipse II nebulizer cups I got this summer - threw them back in my bin and went back to the old cheap one. Looking at the top, what used to look like a really fine mesh now looks like a silicon membrane. I'm going to mess with it and see if I can get it to work better.
I wonder...

Sue I’d bet “messing” with it will have it workin’ like new in no time.😂 The Thumpster
Or it will be completely and irretrievably broken. My results tend to be 50/50 on fixing...
I am having recurrent problems with Tobi in Pari LC plus cups- not getting about half of med sometimes and cup liquid goes to foam. I’m discouraged. I’ve been on this treatment for 5 years.
If I remember correctly, there is a specific neb cup recommended for the Tobramycin, and it is not the Pari LC or LC plus. When I used the Tobi, my respiratory therapist gave me a bunch of disposable neb cups, told me to use and wash them for "a few days" then toss and replace. I was also instructed to use my Pari Vios (big green machine) compressor.
That was 6 years ago, but it would be worth checking with the drug company or an RT for the current recommendation. (They are often both better at knowing these details than the doc.)

I need to order new neb cups and have been using pari sprint. I also noted longer neb time with the last 2. Any advice on what to try next?
