Because of illness and moving it has been a while since I have been on this site. I had Stage IV colon cancer in my sigmoid colon 23 years ago. They removed 12 inches and said the cancer had spread. They ordered chemo of 5FU and I believe Leucovorin. Within 10 days I had a massive infection go down my throat. When I went into ER I was given 2 hours to live. I was in a coma for 14 days on Life Support. Needless to say, I am still alive!
I stopped the chemo! That next year I spent all or part of 200+ days on a rivers in the Rockies, while working and traveling!
My personal feelings are that so much of healing occurs within the mind. That is not to say everybody's journey is the same! Just food for thought!

I am on keytruda and have had several side effects. My thyroid stopped working and my lungs keep getting inflammation in them. Stopped for 4 months but am starting back up this Friday. Hope it goes well as this is just about my only treatment as I have MSI High Colon Cance
