Stress and a-fib
Super high stress situation caused HR spike this am. Not coming down despite 25 mg meteropol. Now in a-fib. Hope HR comes down and a-fib goes away.

1 Reaction145 high while making a “presentation” before an audience, not my favorite activity, induced panic attack. Stayed 130-80 for hours afterward. Took a 25mg metoprolol, been trending down. 70-80 while lying down now.
Thank you for your interest. How are you?

2 ReactionsI recently read The Afib Cure after seeing it was mentioned on the Mayo Clinic Connect forum. It did a great job of presenting how stress affects our heart rhythms. I am implementing many the ideas to give my ablation the best chance of doing it’s job.

4 ReactionsAlso exercise in moderation and start your day with a capsule of magnesium (glycinate). I use the Pure brand which provides 29% of recommended daily allowance. Been doing so for 2 years since ablation. I am also off of all meds. Vitals are great. Good luck.

1 ReactionI do magnesium as well. Cardiologists sometimes recommend it as do integrative medicine docs. I also do potassium by drinking low sodium V-8.
