Mine was bumpy too for a while. Someone told me to massage the whole area with Vitamin E oil or anything that is Vitamin E like an ointment or cream. I did it twice a day and the bumpy area resolved over time. The doctor told me it was just scar and skin that was pulled in to close the incision. It is fairly common.
