Does anyone find that a type of shoe helps your foot neuropathy?
I am on a constant quest for shoes that don't kill my feet due to the neuropathy. I find that Spencos and Wolky shoes seem the best. Are there any other suggestions? Shoes can be just crippling for me. Horrid.

I am wearing Brooks Ghost 15 and find them helpful. They have a wide toe box.
I have been wearing OrthoFeet tennis shoes for a few years and at this point that's all I will wear, have them in two colors. Every foot and Neuropathy is different, but they work for me.
I have CRPS and SFN in both feet. I have found Hoku wide the best for me. Tomorrow I get a new treatment Qutensa. I hope my body doesn't react poorly. I have multiple allergies. There isn't a pain med I can handle. Recently started on Low Dose Naltrexone but have had to ramp up very, very slowly due to reactions. Haven't hit full dosage yet.
Is there a natural way to stop neuropathy
Hi @nancydehart, Welcome to Connect. I wished I had a good answer for you. There are quite a few different alternative and complementary treatments that have shown to provide some level of relief for many people but I don't think there is one answer that fits every type of neuropathy. The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy maintains a good list of complementary and alternative treatments here - https://www.foundationforpn.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Complementary-and-Alternative-Treatments-Revised-2020-final.-1.pdf. I would recommend a pair of Doc Marten boots if you are still searching for shoes. I’ve been dealing with idiopathic peripheral neuropathy for coming twenty years. I was also diagnosed with a type of Vasculitis four years ago which further negatively impacted my neuropathy. I have worn many types of shoes over the years but have found my Doc Marten boots to be the best for walking distances. I should add that I’ve placed a good quality pair of arch supports in them as my feet have begun to flatten with age. My boots are very plain with laces and I have them in black patent leather. I have, in fact, had many strangers stop me to ask about them. I find them very comfortable and offer the added bonus of supporting my ankles. One other advantage I have found is that the soles don’t wear. I suspect that they will be a part of my estate if any of my granddaughters wear my size. LOL Oh, and they never need to be polished either. This has been my experience in any event.
I use barefoot shoes in the house and find they help alot. The brand I have been using is Leguano - they look like cheap water shoes but are actually pretty pricey. They comfortably hug my feet without causing any friction.
Someone here recommended Hike shoes a while ago. I ordered them and they are so cheaply made and not helpful for my neuropathy. I tried to return them per their policy and they have been giving me the run around, never answered phone or email for weeks. will only give me half my money back although they are letting me keep the shoes which I don’t even want. Do not order these shoes!
For me, I need the double W’s on my tennis shoes and good brands. That’s it for me.
I had Plantar Fasciitis for more than a year, then I was advised to buy Birkenstock sandals. In 2 weeks my problem was gone! They do take a couple of days to get used to, but they’re wonderful. I find it helps my back too. I have a pair for just around the house! I hope you get some relief soon!
