Hello @jgnaip2 and @bowersra, Welcome to Connect. I shared my neuropathy journey in another discussion here along with other members - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/310341/. @jgnaip2 and @bowersra, if you feel comfortable sharing, what are the symptoms from your neuropathy that are the most troublesome?
15 years of idiopathic foot neuropathy, diagnosed has progress from small nerve to large nerve in calves. Everyone's body is different but for me switching from 10 years of Gabapentin to pregablin has been a God send for severe fatigue. Alpha Lyphoric Acid has helped in addition. Prayer really helps a lot. God Bless 🙏
Sadly I have come to the conclusion that GP’s no very little about neuropathy mine just advised me to just live with it. I have been forced to resort to the internet.
I have to admit that the information on the internet is very good but there is the danger of doing more harm than good but it at least makes yo feel as if your doing something.
Does anyone take vitamin B12 and folate on a regular basis and at what dosages.
I would love to know if anyone has tried hyperbaric chamber sessions for neuropathy. I am out of ideas but I’ve never tried this or seen ir mentioned. Probably a scam but I’m desperate enough to fall for any scam at this point
Perfect request. Thank you. I stopped my statin to see if both my legs respond by relinquishing moderate numbness during sleep hours. After a month or two there is improvement.
Have any of you tried the Nooro electrode? It's a patch that you charge in the wall, then place on your leg/knee/calves/etc., and push the activator on the patch to increase the electric intensity or decrease. It turns itself off in about 10 minutes, then I move it to a new place. This has made a huge improvement in the amount of burning and pain I get when I sleep. I put Nooro on about 4 or 5 places an hour or so before I go to bed. I'm getting longer and better sleep between wake times, and fewer of them.

So I’m in the same boat - neuropathy in both feet, non-diabetic and continues to get worse.
I work on my feet and up to 8 hours. I have a terrible time finding shoes that fit( high arches, narrow feet and hammertoes …
Had foot surgery 10 years ago.
I have read very positive reviews about Calmare or “ Scrambler” therapy. Painless, non invasive and drug free. Developed by 2 Johns Hopkins doctors- approved by FDA. 15 years - I am desperate to find relief. My pain in concentrated in my toes and ball of foot. That’s it -
A lot of doctors ( my neurologist for one) have never heard of this therapy-
I refuse to take gabapentin but will give Lyrica a try -
Google Calmare therapy to find more information-
I had been active most of my life ( marathon runner)Amateur Soccer player and aerobics.
Initially my career required a certain heel height and that combined with cabin pressure just made my feet worse.
It’s intermittent pain.
I am desperate for relief-
I had success with relieving the pain thru about 6 months of accupuncture. I no longer have any pain - just the numbness. The numbness has improved a little by wearing barefoot shoes in the house (I have Leguano brand). They are very comfortable. My neuropathy was chemo induced.
This product is virtually identical to NUPHORIA GOLD which has been on the market for a long time
I have had a skin punch biopsy showed small fiber neuropathy
I am new to talking about this. But have had neuropathy for at least 12 years.
Doctor does not understand what we go through
