Why doesn’t my doctor screen me for cancer, I have concerns
I have some health concerns that are quite personal and I tried to get them addressed with my doctor at my last annual physical. Im 46, I have swollen lymph gland in my groin, trouble to start urinating and getting up 3 or so times a night. Bloody stools off and on for 5 years. Feels like something in my side around my stomach or descending colon (left side under ribs). Had chest pain then hospitalized with cellulitis in my foot. Seems like I have something going on but at my doctors appointment she just listened to my heart through a sweat shirt and said “well your healthy and that’s great”.
Then I ended up in the hospital again. More IV antibiotics and seems like something is up. Anyone ever experienced this or have any suggestions?

A lazy doctor is not worth the visit. I have had many, and I am now not at all reticent about finding someone who will actually work. There are a few, even some at Mayo. oldkarl
Find another doctor fast. If you have reputable hospital near by look for a new GP there. This way you will have other specialist doctors in the chain that typically work together.
