Post COVID: Anyone experiencing internal vibrations?
I have had long covid for over two years and a symptom began sporadically during the initial seven weeks that has worsened since a second covid experience. It began as a “flutter” in my chest upon waking, lasting 5 seconds or so. It is not painful just a new sensation I have never experienced. After getting covid again in February 2022, the internal vibrations have become full body and go on for forty seconds. It is always upon waking or falling asleep temporarily during meditation and waking again. Long Covid retired me from my profession and I am not under any stress. I had a recent cardiac incident (also due to long Covid) and wore a Holter monitor. I triggered it whilst having an IV incident: definitely not cardiac induced. Has anyone else experienced IV like this?

Hi @rstern99. Hope Im understanding your question as my vision/pem worse today🙃 The sleep study allowed healthcare providers to have clinical data that backed up my experiences such as oxygen level markedly lower. This allowed for Cpap to be prescribed which gives continuous oxygen and in turn this helps our entire body from blood cell level including hopefully the area causing your vibrations. I also do box breathing to reset my nervous system and finally am at point I can stretch my arms overhead when first wake up which seems to help. All of us are different but hope can glean some positives from this!🌈
I am experiencing this. Yes. Started 6 weeks after
diagnosis. 2 weeks after second negative test
Yes, this still occurs sometimes. It seems kind of random. I once referred to the sensation as an “inner earthquake” because that's exactly what it feels like. Dr. probably thought I was nuts. 😄
I wouldn’t have known I had Covid unless I tested before getting on an airplane. I had no symptoms. I think everyone can pretty much assume they’ve had it at this point.
I have had internal vibrations for almost 2 yrs and I'm desperate. I did not get vaccinated. It seems ok if I'm alone and thank God I can sleep. My right leg tremors, but I can stop them if I try and they stop when I sleep. Ive had MRI's, one of brain and spine with contrast and all ok. I have had blood tests, a heart monitor, stallate ganglion injection, you name it. Any answers or suggestions?
I am not sure I understand what you mean by internal vibrations, but since the Covid infection in January 2023, I have had what I believe is extensive nerve false or mis-signaling causing from major, multiple jerks in various areas to quivering twitches. These symptoms have been everywhere below my shoulders. Moving the area or body part stops it. This occured in legs, arms, on my sides, quads alone, calves, feet, and sometimes my chest area. The cramps have been excessive also. My potassium and magnesium are good as are all other areas which may be a normal causation for such symptoms.
Covid..... these are less in frequency now, but still present daily.
These are neurological as I am sure you understand. I find nothing, but time lessens them. I had them with an earlier Covid infection, but they were nothing like the current symtoms in ftequency or strength.
I wish I had something to tell you to help. Eat healthy, walk if you can for exercise, hydrate well, and keep pushing forward. You are not alone with this situation.
I have been waiting a year to see a neurologist in a group which focusses on Covid impacts. I have two other neurology appointments, one waiting a year, the other no date set yet. I do not expect solutions, but hope for guidance.
No vaccination, no booster. Major medicinal and environmental allergies preclude me from use on the full FDA label (not package insert). I have found nearly no one (doctors or otherwise) read the full labels of any of the vaccines. Regardless, the rate of production of these caused me great pause looking at the method. I have a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology and Microbiology and my work was host plant resistance and pathogen genetic variation on host resistance. I was in a plant breeding program.
We use and used these virus vectors and such in that field. It has caused some significant problems (vector virus transmitting genome to off target populations, pathogen resistance development, and other less significant issues).
Do you have pain with these symptoms or just the whole quiver - jerk situation which can be unsightly and annoying?
I note, when I become very relaxed, as in just before dozing off or resting quietly, this had the highest frequency of time occurrence.
Is yours the same?
Yes. My mother had covid 1 month ago and she has jelly legs. We sometimes have have to use a wheelchair because she can’t support her body.
I have gone to 3 neurologist and everything is negative.
resting causes me the same. also food. i can lessen the internal tremors after eating with digestive enzymes. walking is a big help. in fact almost any body movement. i took up knitting which my body interprets as exercise. maybe it is…
I have like an internal humming in my ears don’t know what the heck that is. I also have a thrombosis in my external jugular from Covid. Don’t know if that’s connected to it.
