Falling
I have had two falls in the last month. The doctors are asking me why I am falling so much. Well I am wondering if anyone has had the experience of excessive pain causing dizziness and/or falling. One of the falls happened when I was very tired from being on a trip. I thought I was okay and then I bent to open a mail locker the key stuck and I lost my balance. About 4 weeks later I let go of the railing and fell down the stairs. I was tired again and having difficulty with pain management. Now I am trying to recovery from two falls. I have two brain injuries, neuropathy, fibromylgia and migraines. The doctor is keeping my hydrocodene at 2 tablets of 500/325. My pain level ranges from 7.5 to 10 daily. It is never below 7.5.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts you may have.

@irvkay312 I'm so sorry to hear that you are dealing with so much pain! Are you in a place where you can have some exercise in a pool? I find water exercise to be so helpful. I can exercise for a much longer time period without the pain. I hope that you can get some relief, you are a brave person and I wish you well! Teresa
There is no treatment except pain medication. I have examined all items. That is why they put me in Hospice. Treatment is over.

@irvkaky312, you know water exercise might be considered palliative care. It just offers comfort, not healing. You might ask about it. Prayers are with you! Teresa
Hi Colleen, thanks for working so hard to find help for me. However, as I said before, none of those responses had a similar condition. BUT, I am being more focussed, mindful and slowing down when I do something, and I rarely fall at this time. I still swerve into doorways and walls in my house. I will be going to a neurologist in a couple of weeks. I've been very tied up because my husband had a heart attack and triple bypass open heart surgery on June 13. I will post what the neurologist says after my visit.
If your neurologist had no answers, did they take a blood test (normally CBC) to check for any system deficiencies; did they examine you; did you note to them, items like you've told us before they said "they have no answers." Maybe it's time to seek a Second Opinion from another doctor, Primary Care, Hematologist (blood), so they have a bese from which to analyze your problem.
