Vestibular disorder
I have severe dizziness when moving my head and or body upon standing. This causes my balance to be off. I don't know what's causing this but have inner ear problems as well. Is there anyone who has a cure for this? I have done therapy and the epley method.

I have to get up very slowly and keep my head straight when I get up. I also take Meclizine for the nausea. I have also worn a neck brace when I'm moving around and doing my work. The computer screen also gives me problems if I tip my head so the neck brace helps keep it in the right position. Have you been examined for a pinched nerve in your neck?
I too, thought I had a pinched nerve I did get the 'shot'. I was beyond that. I had the surgery and it was the best decision ever!!! So very thankful for " modern surgery ". My Dr. Went in my neck-- c1-7.
The pinched nerve was ruled out following a CT/MRI. I had severe spinal stenosis and my C spine was a disaster. Post surgery, I have felt great!!.
@jeannen Welcome to connect we are not Drs but tell what helps us I just had the dizziness and balance problem My ENT gave me the epley exercises but also sent me to a ear specialist who put me through a 2hr. Test It showed I had nerve damage he said it comes mainley from infection in middle ear Fortunately the ear exercises helped I don't have any symptoms now Have you seen a E N T Dr. If you haven't I would suggest it .
Hi @lioness
As I read your post I was just wondering if the doctor feels that your ear infection is still active, or if the nerve damage was caused by a previous ear infection?
@hopeful33250 Hi The ear Dr told me it's just age related ????? I told him I never had an infection in my ear but as I was thinking about it I've been around louse noises Firearms in particular as my husband was a hunter . The Dr was very vague when I asked him In the past I had Mono so am wondering if it's virus related guess I,ll never know .
