Has anyone been prescribed EB-N5?
Has anyone been prescribed EB-N5? I see there was a discussion of this supplement before, but it dates back to 2018. I received a message this morning from my neurologist saying he'd like me to begin taking EB-N5. Unfortunately, he's not in the office today, so I'm not able to ask him what I might expect from EB-N5. If any of you have used this supplement, I'd love to know what results, if any, you had.

The doses I use are as follows (daily): B12 500 mcg (micrograms), alpha lipoic acid 600 mg (as used in almost all studies), vitamin D3 5000 IU (but this one I use every other day), methyfolate (the preferred form of folic acid) 1000 mcg (probably safe up to 2000 mcg per day but opinions vary on this). Hope this helps. I use the powder form of alpha lipoic acid and mix it into juice. A third party tested and approved brand in the powder form is the Bulk Supplements brand (with which I have no connection, financial or otherwise).
I strongly advise anyone taking a lot of supplements regularly subscribe to a reliable, respected third party tester's data base, as a very significant number of supplements are mislabeled, contain dangerous contaminants, etc. I personally used ConsumerLab, which is the largest and most respected of these.
Thanks a bunch Proteusx. That helps a lot
Is there a link to this data base?

I would love for you to post periodically as you start this therapy. Please share. I myself have no experience with it personally.
Hello, I was prescribed EBN5 due to a vitamin D deficiency and a gene called MTHFR. I have been taking one in the morning and one at night for a couple years now. This gene causes your body to not break down vitamins the standard way you need a little extra help. This is where the methylated part of EBN5 comes in. It helps my body process the good stuff. I was wondering if anyone else had heard of this gene. My experience with EBN5 is great. I feel so much better when I take it. Just offering my standpoint and curious if anyone has had any issues.
