Hyaluronic acid (hyaluronan) to treat COPD and Asthma
I see where the Cleveland Clinic is using Hyaluronic Acid (hyaluronan) to treat COPD and Asthma patients. Has anyone had experience with this new treatment protocol?

Interesting, @dennismyhre. On Cleveland Clinic's information about treatment for COPD, I don't see a mention of hyaluronic acid (hyaluronan)
- Treatment & Management of COPD https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/8709-chronic-obstructive-pulmonary-disease-copd#management-and-treatment
But it is listed as a possible treatment for asthma in this information page about:
- Hyaluronic Acid https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/22915-hyaluronic-acid
I also found this 2020 journal article that may interest you:
- Use of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) in Chronic Airway Diseases https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7601363/
Did you read about this in a clinical trial or news article or other?
This article, dated 02/01/2021, entitled NIH study shows hyaluronanis effective intreating chronic lung disease, outlines the effectivemess of HA in lung disease....

I have been taking Hyaluronic acid and I will assure it does not hold a candle to Umary!!
Did you mean that Umary is better than hyaluronic acid? What is Umary? Are you taking it? What has been your experience with it?
I also take heart medication, so I have to be very careful with adding Supplements but I would love to hear your story.
Umary is a brand of hyaluronic acid. One would have to research to determine if it is superior to any of the others on the market.

OK, thank you. I will be looking into it as soon as I get out of the hospital.
