Has anyone used the Marodyne device to stimulate bone growth?
You stand on it twice a day for 10 minutes. It gently vibrates and also helps with improving balance. The Marodyne is made in Germany and costs about $3,000. It has not been FDA approved but there are studies in progress.

My understanding is that the Marodyne LiV was developed based on research funded by NASA--NASA researches BMD issues because space travel is horrible for bone density (less gravity means less force/weight on bones). NASA may have been looking for a way to apply vibration therapy while in space, but you have to stand on the Marodyne LiV to get the benefits of the device and this wouldn't work in space. However, the OsteoBoost Belt, which will hopefully be available later this year, might work in space because it it is a wearable device.
Hello everyone, I live in Ireland and I am looking to purchase the Marodyne. Can anyone possibly advise of a supplier in Ireland? Thank you in advance.
@julie I purchased a Marodyne last year. Here is a phone number of the contact I used to purchase it . Maybe they can assist you .
1-913-382-9172 . Machines are manufactured in Germany . In the US they go to Florida and are then sent to those that have ordered them. Hope that helps!! Good luck .

I have purchased Marodyne in 2023 by contacting German suppliers ( I posted their mail and names on this forum last year). I use it by now about 10 months and cannot report yet results.
Didn't Belinda Beck recently report the results of the VIBMOR trial saying that Marodyne-LiV did not help bone density?
Yes! One would think they either need to prove efficacy or stop promising "proven" results. Some have said the "paucity of movement" is what makes them comfortable with this device. Maybe that's what actually hinders it...who knows at this point!? More objective research is needed.
Thanks a million for this @ans!! Much appreciated! 🙂
At approx: 49:30 Margaret Martin gives her view on LIV Marodyne. IMO it's fairly anectodal evidence and not statistical in nature. Margaret is a truly amazing & dedicated person in our journey with this disease, I'm just not agreeing on this personally. So here's another point of view🥰.
I use a VIB plate with the hopes of
building muscle strength, having CLL, it's stated to stimulates blood circulation and lymphatic flow, and I do feel it has improved my balance which is also stated. Anything more would be a huge bonus!
Yes. I watched a different / live presentation by Belinda Beck on Sunday. She said she realized it was a conflict of interest, but there is no evidence that these machines work and she said it made her sad b/c there are a lot of people who can't do physical exercise and it would help them. Like eveything else, do your research and then make your best guess. I wish treatments were more black and white, but they are not.
Is that link available @babs10 ? I believe so many of us were waiting for the VIBMORE trial, hoping for the best!
Dr Beck had to deliver the hard facts that Marodyne LIV failed efficacy in bone building. It's a very difficult outcome to process for many who believed, without scientific or statistical evidence, that this particular VIB plate (costing over $3000.00) having been promoted by a research grant from NASA and NIH, to the tune of 7million FAILED! It very well may have a beneficial impact on what I mentioned earlier, but OP is too serious to just ignore this VIBMORE trial outcome.
