Electrical shocks throughout my body.

Posted by KidWithShocks @braedenl2202, Nov 13, 2019

Hello. I’m not sure if anyone knows what I am talking about but I am hoping that someone does because I am beginning to feel crazy. Every day, I have an electrical sensation feeling throughout my entire body. The only way I can describe it to people is that it feels like I am being shocked by a light switch throughout my entire body. It is very painful, however only lasts from around 5-20 minutes, 1-5 times a day. It’s starting to scare me because my doctor looked at me like I was crazy, and my nurses chuckled when they heard my symptoms. I am going to a neurologist but they cannot fit me in for another month. It’s very painful for me and it has started to come with a red, splotchy rash from my neck down to my legs. If anyone has any idea what this could be and what I can do to surprise the pain, I would really appreciate the advice. And also if anyone else deals with this please tell me because I really am starting to think I am crazy. Thank you!

I’ve been taking niacin 1000mg at bedtime with pretty good results.

Have you been eating or taking any different medications for as long as this has been happening?

My electrical shocks and stinging were random, anywhere inside my skin. It felt like I imagine a cattle prod would feel. Like you doctors thought I looked fine. I do have a form of eczema Allergic Contact Dermatitis and after the 5 Day Extended Patch learned what to avoid, implementing contact control and the rashes healed. Yet this random stinging did not leave and kept getting worse. I thought I had nerve issues based on a neck injury decades earlier so I had a load of neurological testing, all that to learn I had carpal tunnel. Nothing else showed up. The stinging was worse at night as histamines are elevated in the evening. I was sleep deprived and was definitely loosing my mind, laying in bed at night planning the surest, cleanest and least painful way to commit suicide. I didn't want to fail or leave a mess for my husband to clean up. I had no memory of being pain free.I would have sold my soul to the devil have a hour of freedom from pain, simply to remember what it used to feel like. Sleep deprivation is a form of torture. I started on an annual Kenalog-40 corticosteroid shot and this was amazing and kept the electrical taser stings away for about 10 months, then it would slowing begin again. This went on for several years. Steroid shots in the long run are bad news. I finally bit the bullet and began an anti-inflammation diet, a real sacrifice-zero processed sugar and zero carbs for a 3 months detox then zero processed sugar for life, limited natural sugar like a piece of fruit 3- 4 days a week and safe carbs like rice, but zero gluten for life. I began this last Oct 2018 when the corticosteroid shot was wearing off and the stinging and zapping was starting up again. By Dec 1 when I normally had this shot I didn't need it! Now 13 months later and staying true to the Dr William Crook anti-inflammation diet, The Yeast Connection Handbook, I still am electrical shock free. This Dec will be 2 years since I required the potent and not so good for you corticosteroid shot.
All said your symptoms are different in that it is not an all day event. Yet originally mine were not either, this built up slowly over time. You are not crazy, this is really happening to you and you are smart for seeking info from others. I have, for now, solved my problem. The Dr. William Crook book is still sold today on Amazon, not expensive, a simple read. Easy hand written diagrams showing the influence of certain foods raising our histamines. This diet will not hurt you or cause negative side effects like the steroid shots and takes no prescription. Yet you must have the strength to follow it. Will power is a must. Now I never even think about sugar however that took at least 6 months of craving it. It's not easy, but if you are in enough pain you will be motivated to try anything that won't hurt you. I plan to eat like this for the rest of my life. Best of luck, I feel for you. Been there! Living life to the fullest now.

I want to update information about my diet to stop the internal skin electrical shocks which was posted on Nov 15, 2019.
Now 5 years later I still do not eat any processed sugar, but do have two servings of fruit a day.
I am back on sugar free carbs, all types not only rice. For a year I avoided gluten carbs: I've learned gluten was never my issue.
I followed the Dr. William Crook detox for a full 3 months even though his detox is for 2 months and then stayed true to his maintenance diet plan after detox for a year and now eat a normal diet, with on exception no processed sugar. I am still free of the intense, miserable internal skin inflammation which must have been caused by the yeast colonies living in my guts as he explains in his book, The Yeast Connection Handbook, detoxing starves out the yeast colonies.
I haven't needed my annual cortico steroid injection, Kenalog 40, since I began this diet.
It has taken me years, about 4, to finally get over my craving for sweets. Trust me it's a challenge. Mind you I never was overweight or ate an excessive amount of processed sugar. I now even prefer my morning toast without even a sugar free jam. I simply enjoy tasting the wheat with butter. To help me pass up processed sugar I had to brainwash my mind by making up a repetitive jingle and repeating it over and over.

WHEN WILL YOU LEARN,
IT'S GOING TO MAKE YOU BURN.

I'd repeat this every time I was tempted, which was often because I had a healthy family to feed and they ate a normal diet, my home was full of temptation.

Niacin cause extreme flushing for me, my entire body turns beet red and burns. I reacted to only 250 mg. If I took 1,000 I would need am ER trip.

Regular niacin did the same for me too. I’m using Endur-Acin from Endurance Products and it’s a time release formula. I take 2 500mg caps at bedtime without issue and I buy it on Amazon.

So I have this exact same problem
As well. At times throughout the day usually afternoon onwards. I feel like I’m am being constantly electrocuted. After three years of studying this and when it gets worse or occurs I’ve noticed a pattern. When using Devices such as Xbox wireless controller, headset, phones (worse), laptops with Bluetooth , AirPods, wi-fi , phone signal
Etc coupled with sweating, afterwards I would
Feel the electrocutions throughout my body. It’s worse at night as when I stay completely still it’s like I’m Setting myself up for
The biggest electric shock off my
Life. The annoying thing about this is when I walk bare feet on carpet or anything I can hear the static from my feet and it likes walking on an electric fence. When I touch objects that are plastic wood or
Metal the situation
Worsens defeating normal
Science theory surrounding conductive objects. The static can get so bad that when I’m holding water I can charge the bottle with one hand and manipulate it out of that hand with the other hand without touching due to the severe positive and negative nature of my hands. When I’m around people and I’m charged they feel Ill after a time or if I touch them with one hand only. When I interlock my hands the whole thing gets worse or my feet. When Bluetooth is on I feel it a lot more too. There have been situations where I’ve touched devices and they’ve shorted such as parking metres , atms etc , pos terminals etc. once my car wouldnt start , touched the battery in the boot and it came Back to light. I’ve no idea how this has happened but it makes day to day really uncomfortable especially driving. My car has electrical faults for every item Possible On diagnosis but runs absolutely fine.it would Be nice to know what I can do to limit this nonsense!!! I’m careful
Who I tell as People initially think your wacko but after time and demonstrations they are quickly
Then like wtf.

I was in the hospital when it first happened. It started in my abdomen area then it just exploded inside of me. My son was standing beside me and I was screaming in pain. Everyone thought I was having a panic attack!! It took 15min. Happened 2 more times

I have recently started to get tingling shocks that to me feel like a tens machine and they are mostly in my shoulder blades, my back and arms and neck and head and sometimes random spots all over my body? They come and go usually when I am at my computer deck or in my bed laying down or sitting up. Oddly enough I just had one in my right front shin area. I am a diabetic, and wondering if that could have something to do with it? Also, I have tinnitus I assume because I get ringing in my ears and sometimes it becomes very loud and it lasts for hours!

This sounds exactly like what I’m going through. Electric shocks and tingling (like something crawling under my skin) all over my body. I’m going crazy. My doctor is doing allergy testing but antihistamines don’t help much at all.
